Hustler was the flagship publication of Larry Flynt as a counterpoint to the airbrushed and wholesome pinups of Playboy and an answer to the safe raunch of Penthouse. Hustler magazine showed pictures of pregnant women, the elderly, and all races engaged in a variety of sexual acts, much like can be found on many porn websites today -- Hustler was one of the first, challenging U.S. decency laws and conservative morals.
